Wrench keeps looking at the fire controls for a moment before deciding not to push it, his beloved Cardinal had taken too many hits already.

"Since the boys Bill has left alive are running for it I guess we stop for now. We were going to be looking for a job once we landed so I'll set a course for your dock now. I don't suppose a repair crew could meet us there too?"

Wrench quickly checks the dead pirates for valuables, splitting the loot with Nigel before sitting back into his chair to dock at SW-3512

He shouts over the comm "ok crew, the pirates are bugging out and we have a job so make yourselves useful and if your not wounded check the other crew and the ship for damage."

Anath is surprised to find Maurice still alive and (with help from the crew) gets him and Julia up to the Medical Bay.

As this goes on, the ship moves to the surface of Ceres and prepares to dock on platform SW-3512.

Apparently, the offices of the Wraithstone Syndicate occupy the top four floors of the southernmost tower of the Ceres complex...

In the Medical Bay, Anath uses a Super-Coag to restore 5 Wound Points to both Maurice and Julia. He then Performs Surgery on Maurice.

When Maurice wakes up, he is under the twelve hour disablement that comes along with surgery, but spends a Surge Point to use his Restore Vitality power to completely overcome it.

For Julia, Anath just treats her injuries rather than do any unnecessary surgery.

Once the Cardinal had docked on platform SW-3512, the crew is met by three well-dressed gentlemen, who escort everyone into the tower. Inside is an amazing display of power and wealth, opulently wrapped in a corporation-like facade. Airs and high society aside, there is no question that the employees here are the worst kind of coldblooded killers – all smiles and good manners until they are chopping you up in the basement to get rid of the bodies…

You are then taken to a huge Greek-columned meeting hall dominated at the far end by a full-wall painting of Medusa – eye’s blazing. Lining the sides of the hall are a variety of exceptionally fine statues depicting Medusa’s ‘victims’, all stylistically appropriate to the Greek theme.

Solomon Wraithstone stands under the painting of Medusa on a raised dais, while a Feng-Shui Master sits at a desk to one side with a gatestone-enhanced lopan and a huge paper ledger of some sort. He seems to be consulting the lopan and taking notes in the ledger as the crew approaches. Directly across the Feng-Shui Master’s desk on the opposite side of the room, sits a beautiful woman in small cushioned chair. She seems indifferent to the meeting itself, quietly fussing over her nails with a small file.

Anyone taking the time to look will also notice all the standard security measures – cameras, comlinks, etc.

Once the everyone has approached the dais, their three escorts retire to the far end of the hall to stand near the wide double doors you came in through.

Solomon Wraithstone then speaks – “Welcome to my humble enterprise. As I have already introduced myself that leaves each of you…”

He is a well-established Pirate Captain here on Ceres with a lot more resources at his disposal than what you saw today. He obviously underestimated your resolve when you proved to be less than easy prey for his Gatejacking. It was this that brought your crew to my attention. I believe you may be able to help me as I have helped you.”

“I have a ten year old daughter named Amberly. She has been taken from her mother’s care by the worst of human scum – Child Traffickers! My sources have identified who it is that has her – a soon to be deadman by the name of Lester Werthlen. Unfortunately, we do not know where to find this worthless piece of crap. We would ask it of the Junker’s Guild, as they are in the know of virtually anything you could imagine; but our current relations with the Junkers Guild are, shall we say, strained at best.”

“This is where you come in. Go to the Junker’s Guild; Find out where Lester Werthlen and his followers are operating; Kill Lester and his degenerate followers – all of them – in as painful and horrifyingly gruesome a manner as possible; and return my daughter Amberly to me.”

“Do this, and you will receive a 5,000,000w reward for Amberly’s safe return, plus 500,000w for each and every head of the child trafficking scum you bring me – sans body!”

The Crew is given the coordinates of the Junker's Guild and 'escorted' out of the Wraithstone Corporation Tower.

Back on the ship, the crew needs to decide if a few hours should be spent repairing some of the ship's damage first, before heading to the Junker's Guild - or if they think they can push the ship that far...

Wrench happily makes the decision for them as he cares more for his ship than their health or well being.

"Right I'm getting repairs done, it'll be a few hours so go sell your lot or somthing. I'm gonna stay and keep an eye on the cardinal and see if they will install more guns for me."

Wrench spends the time trying to convince them to install more guns while they do the repairs.

"And if one of you buys me a bullet-proof vest I'll pay ya."

Wrench spends four hours repairing the open holes in his ship (+4 Structure Points), while the rest of the crew go out shopping for gear.

Not surprisingly, it is a whole lot easier on Ceres to find and purchase weapons and other illicit equipment than anywhere else in the system.

At length, the crew all return to the ship and head to the asteroid coordinates where the Junker's Guild makes their home. After flying two hours out from Ceres – with Wrench continuing to make repairs to the ship (+2 Structure Points) – the crew sees a collection of large asteroids actually fused together with a hobbled collection of old ships. A massive capitol ship from decade’s past acts as the Guild’s receiving platform, where visiting ships can dock; and houses the offices of the Guild Masters.

Furthermore, a fleet of dilapidated looking Heap Ships orbit nearby, no doubt keeping vigil over the Junker stronghold – if you can call the floating junkyard anything of the sort.

When Wrench docks the ship, it is locked onto with docking clamps controlled by the Guild. This means that the Cardinal will be unable to leave unless the Guild lets them go, or they physically weld the clamps off, or they hack the clamp controls (MTN 15 Computers roll).

Once disembarked from the ship, the crew is met by one of the Guild Masters; under the careful scrutiny of a well-armed security detail (composed of two dozen rough and scraggily-looking Junkers in armored vests with military assault rifles).

“Of what services can the Junkers Guild offer (or expect) from the newest collection of refuse to flush down into Ceres?” the old man asks with a spit of chewing tobacco to emphasis his apparent distaste of having to waste time talking to space pirates…

"We only got into this part of the system a few hours ago so I have no idea how any of this works but I've heard you are the best people in the galaxy to talk to if you need to buy information, and we do, so here we are and we can pay." All completely honestly

The then proceeds to start smoking his cig again.
