Yeah, the quality of your game has been worth waiting for Drak. But having done a few Side Quests in Mythic Nippon, I know what a huge burden they are on the GM.

It just occurred to me how incredibly similar Heldric and Steeple's sidequests are.

Particularly their NPC help (which comes in the form of slowing time for the large part).

Though I think Steeple would have made much better use of the death skull that Heldric currently has than Heldric will.

It is likely, Heldric doesn't like tools due to his path belief... However now he has somthing very fun to use against the first person to annoy him...

Ohhh, actually, I totally forgot about the fact that Lucien's blood is all tainted as Fark, Ennius would be very much worse off for drinking it.

Lucien could offer to expel the blood in his body instead though, since Ennius will sacrifice his well-being for Lucien in this regard anyway (especially since he is literally built to take punishment).

I said i'd update you all today! Sure, there's only 20 minutes left in "today" but I did it dammit!

They lose all artificial love once the bloodbond is gone, but any interactions they had with you through that long period of time will remain - and that might keep them loyal regardless, kinda like how an emotionally abusive husband can keep a wife loyal despite his many abuses due to the psychological damage he's inflicted on her and the dependence she feels she has to him.

For example, Joseph would be loyal to Anton regardless of the bond because 1: He is not fully bonded to Anton (he has yet to lose his bond to Basilio) and yet already cares about Anton to the point that he currently does and 2: He has personal reasons and existing issues that would attach him to someone like Anton.
