I have a car now!!!!
-
What kind?
-
My condolences.
Cars are a bitch for upkeep.
Least you can go places on your own now. What kind of car you get?
-
2007 Subaru Legacy. Worth the upkeep to get to drive places myself :D
-
Good choice on the Subaru, I've always been really happy with them.
-
Should've had a V8
-
What color?
-
Hey man congrats! Saburu makes a good vehicle.
My first was 1996 Dodge Intrepid. Big boat of a car but lots of great memories. Enjoy it man

First car... I remember that feeling. Man, it was a piece of junk, but it was my piece of junk.
-
I'm pretty sure one of my friends drives a subaru legacy. (Judging from google images) They're pretty nice cars with nice interiors, and they feel pretty roomy too.
Man, it was a piece of junk, but it was my piece of junk.
Felt the same way about my first personal computer, and every sonic game I ever owned when I was young and starry-eyed.

Woot! Congrats Drak!
I have a new car too, actually. 2013 Honda Fit Sport in Midnight Plum. I've always been ambivalent about cars, but she's my fourth and she's perfect. I wanted a used Fit, and going through the dealership was amazing. I tried a white standard model & got a free lesson in driving stick (which gave me a whole new respect for that skill)... and then the sales guy kept me from talking myself into a car I didn't really want, and used their network to find my Pearl.
And YES, Pearl is a dorktastic name for a car. But 'Plum/Damson/Damascene' just didn't stick. So I've got a not-quite-black car named Pearl, and she's my shiny. I've been driving all over the place. Drove in the last snowstorm just to see how she'd handle. ;D
Gas prices are CRAZY low right now, too. If I weren't so damn busy I'd take a road trip. How about you, got any crazy summer plans? You Canadians still get to escape school in the summer, right? ;)

I got my car repaired and I've been driving it the past few days. It's handled beautifully and I aquired a few CDs so that I didn't have to listen to stuff on the radio.
I finally understand the love a parent feels for their child

XD
I've got three local stations I flip between. Rock, pop, and NPR. I need to dig out my handful of CDs, 'cause my now-housemate made me some great goth-industrial mixes... about ten years ago now. ::)
What are you listening to?
-
Tech N9ne's everready (the religion 1&2), Anghellic and sickology 101
Bethoven's Moonlight Sonata and other works; Piano and Strings
Mars Volta's Octahedron
Gorillaz' Demon Days
As you can probably sense, my tastes in music are random and haphazard.
-
Gorillaz! Damn, I forgot about them, thanks for the reminder. They're super fun.
Just listened to Tech9's Aw Yeah. Woke af, as the Twitter kids say. I'll listen to more of them for sure. Thanks, man.
Never heard of that other dude. ^_~
-
If its tech n9ne, i would highly recommend straight out the gate feat Serj Tankian. ;D
-
FARK YES.
Wow, did I ever need that this morning. Thank you.
-
So, saw a spiderbot reading this and was wondering, how's the old buggy doing so far?
-
It's a beauty, had no problems with it whatsoever :)
