After getting the go-ahead from BZ and Thayan, I will post some teaser art from some of the BHB adventures I have done artwork for!
Without further ado..
From Ghost in the Machine
Cyril Davis, Bounty Head

The pic of Big Mike is one of my favorites - you really captured the 'big anime goon' to a 't' - I love it!
Great stuff ;D
BZ

Nice job. I like it also. I like Cyril Davis. He looks like a criminal. Cool picture, nice artwork. ;D
-
Arn't you doing some work for our other products?
BTW - what's the broken fishy link things with your pics? They arn't hurting anything, but I was just curious :)
BZ
-
Thanks!
The fish link crap is from those bastards at imageshack for hosting. I'll just paste them in the thread from now on.
Sneak peek for this week is from the sekrit sekrit adventure that will be offered at GenCon next week:
-
:o ooh, that doesn't look like something you want t see in a dark alley!
On the image hosting, I might suggest photobucket - no odd links :)

Bounty Baboonbill, I must say you are a very impressive artist. I was at the tables at the con when you were drawing sketches. Two words: AWESOME ARTWORK!!!! ;D
-
Yeah - where's our pics? ;D
BZ
-
Okay! Sheesh. It's not as if I'm working on other projects right now.. ;)

BIG MIKE! The bane of our existance for much of the adventure.
Daddy! Once Cyril Davis had been found, we had tackeld him and to keep him from escaping our Psychic Kid latched herself to his leg yelling DADDEEE!! His disguise was falling off and utterly askew by then.
Move it, Payday! A dead bounty is worth zilch, so our merc was desperately trying to keep him from catching a stray bullet. He snagged him on the run, shouting "Move it, payday!"
Black Angus. Kind of like calling a really big dude "Tiny', or a rotund man 'Slim'. Black Angus was the albino Bounty Hunter i played in the game.
-
Oh Man those are so awesome, because not only are they awesome – but we were there when you just sketched them off the cuff, based on the in-game action going on at the time. They definitely added tremendously to the zing we had going at that game ;D
I love the 'Move It Payday' sketch the best I think – thought the ‘Dadeee’ one really cracks me up too 8)
BZ

There are just too many great things to say about that game we played. Those sketches are very impressive and just down right awesome. Great job Bounty Baboonbill. It was a pleasure gaming with ya, hope to have the oppurtunity again sometime. :)

Sneak Peek on the BlastOFF! artwork soon to come!
I am using a few fun easter eggs from the nice art done in BHB rulebook so keep an eye out for them.. :D
-
Every good bar needs a memorable bartender. Even in the far flung corners of the BHB solar system..
-
Gimme a large milk in a dirty glass! ha ha! ;D
BZ
-
I will have the dirty glass, skip the milk. You might as well drink WATER!!! YUCK!!!! :P
-
Another shot from BlastOFF!
This one is called 'Audience'.
"So you wanna see boss? Your funeral.."
-
Pretty cool - he has a real 'Gengis Kahn' look going. I really dig the fur-lined vest/jacket and the piled-up smokes ;D 8)
BZ
-
Love the artwork BaboonBill. Keep up the great work, you have a wonderful talent. I have seen you work first hand at Gen Con. ;D
-
Hey, I just got the draft copy of Blast Off to go over and have to say your artwork for the book is pretty damn awesome!
BZ
-
Horay! I am glad you like!
-
As always, very impressive ;D
-
In honor of the imminent release of BlastOFF!, here is another sneak peek:
Schroedecker's Pawn, where you can fence off possibly hot merchandise..
-
Dig the choppers on that guy! ;D
Nice work as always B BB 8)
BZ
-
Hey BaboonBill. What does the VOS stand for on that guys tattoo? Very cool picture by the way 8)
-
VOS? Velociraptors on Speed? ;D
One of the nifty things about Bill's art in the books is that they portray some rather mundane situations in interesting ways. Not just you're typical shoot-em-up action shots.
Though speaking of that, I would like to see picture of a leather catsuit wearing psychobitch on a catwalk waiting to roast some poor shlub investigator with a flamethrower. Over the top? Not if you've played Fortune Cookie Fix ;D
BZ
-
I hope this year's conventions will spark a few more quick table scetches - those were too awesome! ;D
BZ
-
That could be the new con game. If you can come up with an extremely cool scene with your character, you can get it immortalized as a sketch on the spot. ;D
-
BaboonBill is about the best sketch artist I ever seen. He did a great job when we gamed together with his drawings. Cool Stuff!!!!! 8)
-
Thank you thank you!
I will totally be sketching during whatever BHB game I can get into at Origins..
-
I look forward to it. Are you signed up for one yet? ???

Sweet! ;D
BZ

I look forward to it. Are you signed up for one yet? ???
Nope. I was just hoping to show up at a BZ Game with a generic in hand and find a spot at the table. ;)
Cheeky, I know, but I have an 'in' with the GM; we've done some work together.. :D

"Man, the groupies keep getting uglier every day."
"Dude, that's my mother."
- overheard at a concert -
;D
-
I do not even know an easy way to reply to that ;D That is funny.
-
Hey bill - I really dig the Kekor (http://underburrow.com/billwerks/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/Kekor-copy.jpg) illistration you have on your site - I hope that project gets going soon so we can see it in print 8)
Also, why have I not seen 'Dodge, pilgrim!' yet? Was it one you did for Blast Off! that wasn't used? If so, I'll have to see with you and Mark about snagging it up for one of the Adventure Sessions :)
BZ
-
Can't wait to see it as well :)
-
Thanks! I was really happy with the Villains illos I did; can't wait to see them in print too.
'Dodge, Pilgrim', the Barkeep, the Bar Scene, and Schroedecker's Pawn were all illos unused for Blast Off! I believe Mark is going to plug them in with other projects and I am eager to see what he does with them.
-
Cool 8) Me too.
