I had the opposite decision about this con. The people I met there were awesome. The artists were so cool. Lots of fun things I got into other than gaming. My game on Saturday was a blast.

And the parties saturday night were off the hook! SO much fun. I got to know some super cool people.

Now I can understand your reactions being as you are not into partying and such. But I for one intened to go next year no matter what! Party!

I just got done baking a TON of cookies. I made Pizzelles, 4 batches of Ginger Spice cookies, and 2 batches of choclate cut outs shaped like leaves. *whew*

I volunteered to bring them for the Artiste Soire on thursday evening. Hope everyone likes them cause I am exhausted!  :P

I'm in a new game I've not tried before (I think it just came out) on Saturday afternoon called Cruelest Joke. Sounded like a good RP game so a nice change of pace.

And another system I've never played before called Dread. I'm playing in I've got a bloodstained ticket on friday night. I'll be playing it in my Kender costume! LOL

It's cool they added those so I get to try some systems I have never played before. Always fun. I think Dread uses the actual Jenga game in it. You make the tower fall you die spectacularly!

We're staying at the hotel that the Con is in. They have a discounted Con rate. Since we have the booth we wanted to stay close to our stuff and all. I didn't want to drive home each night cause I want to party and have fun at the evening festivities. It's over an hour for us too to get home.

I'm baking lots of cookies for the Artiste Soire on Thursday evening. I can't wait for that! We get some publicity for being a "sponsor" of the event and get the logo out there. Very cool.

Very cool JP. Glad to see something other than RPGA events on there. Hope they add some more games or I won't be playing anything the whole con!

No worries! I was just offering the DM hat if you wanted it. I am perfectly capable and willing to run something for you guys! I have the DM disease now  :D

We have modules I can whip up characters for, I can whip up a scenario myself no problem. Just gotta decide WHAT to play...D&D, Exalted, mixed white wolf party, who knows what madness I will pick!

Mwwahahahahahahahaaaa

Actually with how full his plate is right now chances are I would be running something for you guys....unless YOU want to run something JP.

He's contacting Nick and Ray....Nick might have a school thing friday night so it's gonna be a mad scramble to find a time we can all do as usual! But I would love to get the gang together.

I wish we could go to WYC!! I've been wanting to go so bad but next march Jay's sister is getting married in florida the weekend after it. So talk about not having the money or vacation time to go!

We may try to come down just for a day or so if we find crash space for little to no $$. Not likely but we'll see.

Aww Sweetums! He can do some major damage!

Rowlf is cool too.

Now I gotta watch my Muppet show dvds. :)

By the way Berka crew. Me and Jay are coming down for a visit next weekend (27th/28th). Would you guys be up for a game night? Friday night is best for us but maybe we can work out something for early-ish Saturday too. We're gonna try and get Nick and Ray too.

Well Scooter always helped run the show and actually had some smarts. For a scientist you gotta have Dr. Bunson Honeydew and or his assistant Beaker.

Rizzo the Rat or the little Shrimp guy (pepe?) would be good for getting into small places.

Honestly I would replace Fozzy with someone else...he always made me so sad with his lameness and uselessness. Animal would be 10 times funner to play than Fozzy! You gotta have someone start out with low sanity....that would be animal  :D

Yeah Jay will be running Pantheon demos as much as possible. I will be manning the booth while he does that so come by to say Hi please!

I have heard tales of the awesome parties that happen there, I'm looking forward to those! Don't know how much gaming I will be able to fit in....we'll see what the booth schedule looks like.

Oh good news JP and Lori....

Jay and I will be at Con on the Cob this year. I forgot to mention it when I saw you last. We even got a booth in the exhibi hall! Jay will be pimping his forthcoming RPG Pantheon and we're 90% sure that we'll be selling Fat Dragon products as well.

So now you HAVE to come!

I had an awesome Con. All my games were filled with really cool players and we had a blast.

I just wish I had been able to see Lori more than one game and JP and RBree more than 3 minutes at the booth!!!

Next year I demand you guys ALL sign up for one of my games. This I command! Don't make me snake whip you!

Didn't you see the Muppets from Space movie?? Gonzo is an Alien. There's a whole race of Gonzos on another planet.

He was accidentally abandoned here when he was a baby. Poor thing.

My games are ready and in the backpack.
We aren't leaving till about 1pm tomorrow so we can pack in the morning. I'm gathering stuff together that I don't want to forget.
I keep feeling like there was something important that I am forgetting to do tonight.....I'm either paranoid or I will be running ragged tomorrow! LOL

UGH I hated that movie! They took the legendary story and bent it over and....well...you get the picture. The original Clash of the Titans will always be my favorite...cheesy yes but at least true to the myth.  :D

LOL LadyZ. I provide candy for all of my games as well. It's an idea I stole from Big Daddy Thwack games. They always provided candy.

This year it's Japanese fruity gummies (I am so addicted!), some dove chocolate, and smarties. I will also be baking banana bread muffins and some super duper healthy whole weat-Goji berry-Ginger-Walnut cookies. To provide energy and nutrition on the go.

I used to have a pair of the Bear paw slippers. I tripped alot and they made my feet roast!

I have nightmare before xmas slippers now..

And I actually like toe socks as long as they are thin and super soft. Only in winter.
I can't do thong flip flops cause the thing between the toes makes a blister.

Don't sweat it!! You'd get to take it easy in the wheelchair...you can also rent a motorized scooter thing at the convention center I believe. That way he doesn't even have to push you. Plus you can load up the back of the wheelchair or scooter with stuff so no one has to lug it!

It's a win win!

LOL  But really, most times you go see a doctor and they recommend surgery the surgery date is usually weeks away unless it's an emergency. Most surgeons schedules are pretty booked up. I could be wrong, they may have an immediate opening, but I have rarely seen that.

Let us know!
