So, this may be the mild delirium talking, but I think it's time I finally show you all my face. You guys have been an awesome community to talk and RP and debate with, and some of you know more about me than most people I know in real life.
Also, Aman promised to upload a picture of his own face if I did it.

Checked the way Avatars are resized and can't see why they would be flipped. The size limit is 115 x 115 px. I imagine if you saved a pic within those limits though, then uploaded it, it would keep whatever orientation it started in.

Also: Pretty good movie, even just in the sense of being a wild, over-the-top action-adventure flick with emotionally compelling characters. It was not actually a borderline religious experience for me, the way it was for some people. But, yes. I recommend it, if you like that sort of thing, and are not deathly allergic to feminism. My housemate loved it, and he is a person who is has strong opinions on the relative quality of various action-adventure movies, in a way that I do not.

Ahhh, the SATs. Even when so many other things have changed, between my teenage years and yours... you still have to deal with SATs. :P
I mean, I always kind of liked standardized testing, stressful though it was. I was pretty good at it. I also have a pretty strong opinion that SAT scores are not actually very reflective of one's potential. There are other really important factors, which nobody tests, and most people don't even think about.
Anyway. I digress. Hope your results were what you were hoping to get. ^_^

...man, it's really hard for me to gauge where the line is, between what amounts to a sort of horseplay, where people are fooling around and basically play-fighting and it's all in good fun, and cases where it isn't actually fun for one of the people involved. But... try to play nice, kids. ::)
This is only a tangentially related anecdote, but:
The five-year-old has an eight-year-old friend. And apparently, their current favorite thing to do is a 'fighting game,' which apparent involves a lot of pushing and shoving and knocking each other down. And their fathers were kind of eying this, trying to figure out whether they needed to intervene.
So the eight-year-old's father says, to his daughter: "Hey, be careful, she's smaller than you."
And she says: "It's okay! She's tough! And she never gives up!"
And the five-year-old was, in fact, having a great time, even while being smaller and getting knocked over a lot. It was very much all in good fun, in that case.
It's something that makes me happy to see. I mean... this kid is the girliest of girls, in some ways. Her favorite color is pink, she is very interested in wearing pretty clothes and playing pretend games with her dolls. Those are all great things, and I'm glad she enjoys them.
And she also gets to rough-house with this other little girl, and have a great time doing it.
I mean... I am myself someone who came to mock-combat, as a fun thing to do, a little bit late. But it's something I got to really enjoy, for a year or so, in the form of playing with foam swords with my best friend, while studying historical swordplay a little bit, from a very cool guy who studies it and teaches it.
And then my best friend and his wife decided to have a kid, and to ask me if I wanted to live with them, and help raise that kid. And we stopped taking the class. But we told the instructor why... and that maybe someday, if the kid seemed the sort of kid to be into it, we'd be back. Because he taught kids, too.
It's been five years. And... I think this kid is going to really, really enjoy that class. ^_^

And, well... I do not actually think that all the things I sincerely wish that people wouldn't do... are actually things that we should stop people from doing. I mean, that is a perspective some people have, I think, that morality and legality, or in this case moderation, have a 1:1 correspondence.

Just general martial arts, it's my gym course at my Cegep. Would've taken something else but the teacher's actually a retired world-class fighter, so I jumped at the chance to take a course with him, haha. Later courses get into more specific stuff.

I have a beard roughly half the time. Honestly it grows stubbly in a day and a small beard that I have to keep trimmed withing a week and a half. Sadly the hospital makes me shave for "appearances".

I've taken some time to deliberate on this. Assuming she's just making a face with you and her lips aren't like that all the time, (nothing's wrong with them, but I swear the facial expression is so damn similar) and now that you shaved your Bob Marley off and she's dyed her hair, she probably looks 70.056% less like my aunt in real life than she does in that picture.
