So I am going to delete a crap-ton of old OOC posts and stuff I archived. It will significantly drop the Posting Count totals of everyone - but this time. I am going to give back the post counts to the active members.
Here's Who I'll take the time to restore post counts on. If I have forgot someone you think I should include, let me know.

Wondering if we should start mass deleting old threads at CYS to speed it the hell up, of course it might just be CYS messing up for other reasons.

I have to prune here, mostly because I only get a set amount of space with MySQL database. When I get upwards of 95% things slow down a little bit. It was only when I went over 100% that it was really lagging.
Don't really know how the CYS forums are for space though. I'd be more inclined to believe it to be a denial of service attack.
Alexp could check on his end, and it might be worth notifying him about it if it keeps happening.
Back in the Ryder days, he did actually launch a ddos attack and the FBI got involved and spanked him for it. At least that's how I think it ended haha!

Mizal said she checked Alex’s main site and that seems to be messing up as well so hopefully he might be in the process of trying to fix it.
And Bucky mentioned if CYS is still messing up by next week he might ask you if he can move the Atlas story/game on a forum over here. (Either that or he’ll create it over at IS I guess)

I'm not absolutely sure of that though, there was one point it just attempted to load forever but that could've been a fluke. If the site is still on the same server as CYS it makes sense though. Either way, if it hasn't fixed itself by Friday or so might be a good time for Berka or someone to email him just to see if he might have a better idea of what's going on and if anything's being done about it.
I must have been having weirdly good timing with CYS so far, I've really only had problems with it twice since the weekend even though everyone else has been mourning its demise pretty much non-stop. Although I haven't really been doing much more than peeking in once and awhile for a bit of random clicking around, I picked up some new books at a library sale the other day and so I have been reacquainting myself with what it's like to read stories that are actually good. :')
e: Spoke too soon. CYS...is dying!!! please summon Alex to fix it omg I tried to grab a free point but I can't! :( :( :(

Okay, so just tested Alex's site while CYS was down and his is working fine. It's had a redesign and it looks like he's partnered with some company in Japan now so it's possible his business site is on a different server now. Definitely should contact him if this keeps up, we can't assume he even knows there's a problem at this point.

I haven't been on CYS much the last few days, is this still a problem? Or has it finally began to settle?

Well today, it’s been working a lot better for me than it has for the past several days.
Still seems to have issues though at times. I think a few people are still experiencing problems.

I just checked it and it was working for me.
I have gotten that "Service unavailable" a couple times before though.

I just lurk a bit. currently transcribing my stories on there onto scrivner and word documents so I can edit them then finish them properly and re-upload
