Shopping Spree House Rule

Here’s a nifty little house rule that my group uses to reflect the time spent between adventures trying to acquire new gear.

At the start of every new Adventure we have a ‘Shopping Spree’ where players make Availability rolls for all the gear and equipment they would like for their characters (you know – the cool stuff with all the high MTNs)  ;D

In these rolls, they are allowed to use their Luck Points, which gives them a better chance of getting what they want.

After all the rolls have been made and equipment either gotten or not, they get all their Luck Points back and we start the game.

Note that we only do this at the actual start of an Adventure and not at the start of each Game Session.  If someone wants a piece of gear in the middle of an Adventure, they have to go about it under the standard rules of Availability (or hope the GM was kind enough to put said item in the Adventure for the characters to find ;))
