GM DISCLAIMER – I do not condone Player vs. Player PC killing, but I also do not want to interfere with how you each want to run your own character. Daedalus chose to play Jei Hu as an antagonistic asshole toward Keitaro and Keitaro chose to be a vengeful backstabbing fiend.
This battle will be run fairly with the dice ‘falling as they may’ and the outcome standing.
If (and likely) it ends in a PC death, the losing Player will be out of the Adventure until the next one, with the option of creating a new PC) …

Jei Hu, leaving the Chief Magistrate’s house, does not notice Keitaro tailing him in the darkness.
Keitaro, burning with an unconquerable rage at all the insults Jei Hu has piled on him – and now making it even more personal with his Doshin Miko imprisoned – followed, and managed to sense motive high enough to correctly guess where Jei Hu was going.
Running ahead, Keitaro found a choke-point in a dark narrow alleyway and scattered some steel-jawed traps out, hoping the darkness would conceal them well enough to catch the Half-Blood Samurai in one or more of them.
Then hiding in the shadows, Keitaro waited… ancestral nagamaki drawn and ready for his treacherous work.

Walking into the area, Jei Hu failed to notice the traps and stepped into one (failed Reaction Save) – its serrated steel teeth clamping down on his foot for 10 Damage and the Bum Leg Flaw!
At that point Keitaro leaped out – blade flashing in his signature multi-attacks!

[OOC – Keitaro successfully Ambushed Jei Hu (should of bumped Perception JH) – which means that Jei Hu is Stunned for the First Round.
This is critical – It means that Jei Hui has a choice of spending his last Surge Point to shake the Stun and prevent Keitaro a free Round of Attacks or activate Vengeful Counter Stance and ride out the First Round. Unfortunately, if Jei Hu Choses the latter, Keitaro can always over-Surge Jei Hu to prevent that and the Surge Point will be wasted.
Choose wisely Daedalus!

EDIT - If Jei Hu Surges for Vengeful Counter Stance and Keiaro over-Surges him, the Surge is not wasted - the Vengeful Counter Stance still activates - just after Keitaro's first set of attacks.

JH will surge to shake off the stun, then he will draw his weapons and surrender. "I need to live to protect those dear to me. I surrender, but i swear on the blood of my father, the blood of my mother, and on all the things i hold dear in this world i will kill you, be it in this life or the next." he said calmy.

"Lower your weapons and toss them to the side. Here is what is going to happen. You are going to take this scroll, and this ink, and you're going to write your confession of blackmailing a superior officer by Imprisoning his Doshin on charges of theft."
Keitaro uses all his skill of intimidate to force JH to do this.

"The only moving you will do is writing on the parchment" Keitaro looks to slice JH's hand (just enough to keep him from removing the thing). "You are a common bandit, You stole, or had someone steal, and framed someone else for the crime. Someone else that would hurt me, and make me look bad. Seeing as how you are Yoriki-so, not even worthy of the position of Full Yoriki, and I was commissioned to keep an eye on you. I should by all rights run you through right here and now. But yet here I am giving you the chance to have some dignity when they find your body."

CALLED headshot, Exhaust JH as much as possible without him dying. Going for surprise strike or hopefully a 'ambush' lol.
Weapons master x2 and if needed True strike. Take the turn to lien it up, as we're not in combat i dont see why not. And unless Aeon plans to really meta-game... yay^^

No Ambush is possible at this point, so I'll just roll Initiative first...
Keitaro Goes first - and Jei Hu Botches (sorry man :() - Up to Keitaro if he will over-surge Jei Hu or not. Jei Hu can use 3 Surges and become Disabled (but would be in Keitaro's mercy then. Or use 2 and be Exhausted, but not Helpless...

Fark it, if JH is going to die he sure as hell will be taking Keitaro with him. Another surge to go for inititiave and to dying. He will also scream at the top of his lungs while doing the attack and hope somebody hears it and checks it out.

Keitaro surges to interrupt Jh Slicing once with a normal attack hoping it crits across his throat, making him silent and dead. He then unleashes his multi-attack to follow up with in case he didnt finish the job to begin with.

Jei Hu digs deep to surge into the attack – but Keitaro sees it coming! Maybe it was the way Jei Hu lined up the shot a little too long before acting!
Keitaro over-surges the now Fatigued Jei Hu to go first and swings his great nagamaki at the man that has caused him so much irritation lately.
Jei Hu ducks the attack and surges again to try to make one last desperate defense – Exhausting himself in the process – but Keitaro will have none of it and surges again for a multi-attack, swinging his blade twice!
Keitaro misses again on the first of his two swings but connects on the second for 14 Damage.
Jei Hiu then attacks back, but is too weary to allow a hit!
At this point, Keitaro and Jei Hu can hear some yelling and footsteps running toward the area, but they are still perhaps 3 Rounds away…

Keitaro sighs a heavy breath and nods. He hands JH the papers and ink.
"Need help with the trap?" He doesn't wait for a response before adding in. "I didn't want to have to kill you, you know."

At this point (before Jei Hu has signed), two of Roka's Doshin on night patrol, rush into the alleyway, looking for the sound of commotion thet heard a few moments ago.
Seeing the two Samurai, they simply ask a bit confused - "Master Hokusai - Master Okamura?"

JH smiles menacingly towards Keitaro. "Now, you and i are going to make a little agreement. I forgot about this happening, and you forget i had anything to do with your precisous little doshin..." he whispered quickly to him.

"Glad you have arrived Doshin." Keitaro stands and tries to kick the traps into the bushes before the Doshin realize they are there. "This Yoriki-so has just confessed to me his treacherous ways. He confessed to framing Miko for the theft earlier this morning in an attempt to black mail me. Please escort the rat to prison."

Look at my leg, its injured from one of the steel traps he used. If this man is capable of being so dishonourable, would you not think he is the one lying here?"" "Masters," one of the Doshin replies, "Of course we must follow the directives of the Senior Officer in all things, but this is a serious accusation, and we are not authorized to imprison a Samurai without orders from the Chief Magistrate himself.'
"We must bring this matter before him now."
The two Doshin motion for the two Samurai to start walking back toward the Chief Magistrate's house, but do not force the issue - as it is not their place to do so, when dealing with Samurai...

(if too late, JH will go back to collect them) Being very carefull about it so he wont step in another one.)

"Leave it" Keitaro whispers angrily to JH.

Keitaro trails behind the group and takes his shuttered lantern out, as he lifts the shutter closest to him ever so slightly he lights it without being seen and flails it into a nearby building. Lighting it on fire. Hoping maybe JH will act honorably and run into the building to help extinguish the flames...

The two Doshin rush toward the house, passing Keitaro - leaving their back to Keitaro and Jei Hu, as they kick open the door to the flaming building and try to get inside to help those within.

Keitaro nods to JH "Come on Yoriki-so. Duty calls." He nudges him towards the flaming house.

Jie Hu tries to run away from keitaro, as fast he could to the nearest safe place. (OOC: Got damn Aeon, you could have told everything about Miko haha)

"You rat! You're a coward not worthy of the station." Keitaro takes his tango and throws it as hard as he can at JH and rushes after him (move through attack) and draws his Nagamaki to multi strike him and finish this once and for all. "You just sealed your fate. You lit a house on fire and ran from it!" He shouts loudly for everyone to hear as he swings his sword at the Half blood.

Jei Hu only manages to stumble twenty feet before Keitaro’s tanto sails over his shoulder from behind.
Keitaro then moves up and attacks, spending a surge and Fatiguing himself in the process to move and attack twice with multi-attack.
With two murderous strokes, he cuts Jei Hu down for 20 and 19 Damage!
Then, to be sure Jei Hu doesn’t get back up, he takes the Half-Blood Samurai’s head off.
Two more of Roka’s Doshin meanwhile, enter the area and sound a fire alarm – looking with some concern as Keitaro stands over Jei Hu’s dead body.
They then ignore him and go help the other Doshin at the burning house, which unfortunately – with it being the dry season and all (Mid Summer) – has ignited another two houses.
Keitaro watches in horror, as it dawns on him what he has blindly released upon his own people in his rage.
