I could've sworn I remember an episode where House went to the bathroom, and a guy walked out of a stall and said "hey house" and waved, and house saw that his fingertips were blue, and the guy was gonna wash his hands but house farkin assaulted hin

Dunno about that, but he went after a girl with purple finger tips because it proved she poisoned her husband with gold dust in his cornflakes.

That's what House does! And you people question his methods... ;)

His methods are fun--unless they're being used on you.

"Exploratory laparoscopy, but we can't fit you in til the end of September.  Oh and by the way we think you probably have a hernia too."

Goddammit... it's never just one problem, is it? :/ Sympathy on that front, for sure.

You can pick which eevoluton to get if you name your evee the anime evee trainer's name (sparky for Jolteon, Pyro for Flameon, something for Vaporeon)

... You're kidding, right? (*sad there's no glaceon, leafeon, or umbreon available*)

Wait, are there no items in the game? Like, do you have to buy (at a pokestop) one of the items needed to evolve Eevee? (Because, as my memory serves, I'm pretty sure you need an item to evolve a few evolutions of her/him.)

No, there are items in the game, but a few things: you do not buy them from shops, unless it's with real money. You can get pokeballs (and eggs, incubators, a few other items) from points of interest in your city, of which there are always a ton.

You normally DO need a special item for vaporeon, flareon, or jolteon--and various other pokemon--but not in Pokemon Go. All pokemon power up and evolve by eating candy that's specific to them. Ekans and its evolution Arbok both eat Ekans candy and grow stronger from it. Eevee can eat eevee candy and either power up, or evolve into a randomly chosen one of the three main evolutions. >_> And yes. Random. I will not get a choice once I finally get enough candy to evolve it. Fingers crossed for my fave.

Wasn't able to log in for a while. Got jealous of my spouse for getting two of the eeveelutions in the meantime--including my favorite of the main three, vaporeon. <3 (Would absolutely get the full set of all current eeveelutions if the game allowed it.)

Anyway, this s one of those "if it's nothing then I'm kinda pissed they made me spend all this $ on tests."

That's how I felt when I had a (still unexplained) extreme blood pressure spike and chest pains. Multiple tests later, all I really know is that it presumably had nothing to do with my heart. -_-

Anyway, it's prolly just a cyst because it hurts. So much. Not as much as when my appendix ruptured or anything.

=( I'm sorry. I'm glad it's not as bad as it could be, but it still sounds awful.

I think they made a new cartoon with Anime Transformation sequences, and from that alone I think it might be a TTG slaughter fest.

You sure you're not thinking of PPGZ? Because the reboot has nothing to do with anime last I checked, but there IS a PPG anime, too.

Idk man, my buddy moved out there about 4 months ago and he said he doesn't mind being able to cook an egg on the sidewalk. Different strokes, I guess.

Forget eggs, you could cook a steak. And bake cookies in your car, and that's not a joke. It's been done.

At least Arizona has dry heat. It's just miserable with the humidity.

Dude, I've lived in humid heat. Compared to this, I honest-to-God did not mind it. And even the cheerier locals that I've seen, in 120 weather, do not give a shit about it being a "dry heat" anymore, it just isn't any consolation when you're at near constant risk for dehydration and you're slowly turning into human jerky. xD

Holy Fark.

Three days of 100+ temp.

If anyone lives in Arizona, teach me how to be a cactus.  I Farking need it.

*raises hand* :P The key to being a cactus is to be the most tsundere of plants.

In seriousness, I stay out of the sun as much as I can on 118-120 degree days. Today was a 120 day, (though now that it's evening, it's finally gone down to 115... :P) and it's my day off, so I ran all my errands yesterday, spent today resting with the blinds / curtains closed, the fans on, and most of the lights off. Yes, my solution is to live like a vampire.

Mostly used for death row inmates taking the last walk down the final corridor to probably a lethal injection or something.

It always makes me sad for how much $ those ppl prolly owe the hospital, mostly for unnecessary tests/treatment.

xD I can't think about the actual real world repercussions of the shit they do or it makes me sad. How the nurses of that hospital haven't already strangled House, I really don't know, let alone the other doctors.

Point out they will need to pay you 5 days full overtime and suddenly you get a day off, amazing!

Works until you find a boss desperate enough for workers that they'll toss on a little tip just to get you in the door, even though you're already half-dead from doubles. Glad you got a break, though.

What kills me about that, Berka... is that you know they put that one up because some dumbass actually tried it. Like warning labels on some products. xD Gawd. (Just like there is an actual warning label on some chainsaws that says "Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands or genitals.")

And violent criminals, by the very state of being violemt criminals, don't exactly have a high respect for paper laws.

Whaaaaaaaaaaat? Criminals that don't respect the law? Oh, my God... say it ain't so! xD Whatever is this world coming to?

Community Conversation / Re: Community Conversation

This is the solution that uses the most common sense, so of course it will never even be considered.

... I simultaneously want to laugh and cry at how damn true this is. I'll settle for smiling grimly.

I tell you what, those things just stop criminals right in their tracks, and leave them all helpless and confused and stuff.

Nope. I take it back, I laughed. xD Good to know I'm not the only one who finds those signs inherently stupid. Yep, they actively tell any real criminals that all law abiding folks will be defenseless in those areas, which I'm sure just absolutely terrifies them. :P

So, by this standard, a post-op transgender person should be welcome in the corresponding bathroom without hassle.

Makes sense to me, honestly. Though Killa's implied point is also valid: you can say that, but enforcing it is another story.

On the other hand, folks, if people really want to abuse the ability to walk into a room, (not exactly a Herculean task) then they will. Period. Hell, people walk into opposite sex restrooms all the time by accident, (I'd hope, anyway--I sure didn't mean to) it's not hard.

I'm not sure, honestly. I'd hope so.

... Actually, I'm not sure if this is true of all states, but I know for a fact that at least some of them have no laws (specifically) regarding it. So yeah, you could use any bathroom you wanted. Still, I did say 'specifically' because they may try to bust you via a loophole instead.
