Hi all, It looks like its about time to wrap this BHB thing up - hey, 15 years is a good run haha! 

I have already disabled any new accounts and will probably let the site hosting end this year in March. Not 100% sure on that yet, as I may still want hosting for when I eventually get my Chibi Fantasy RPG finished.

Damn, you get old so fast!

So I know Forge has used them before, but what are your thoughts? What's the easiest VT to learn vs, the one with the coolest features? I know One D&D is suppose to be the next big thing, but I'm a bit 'meh' on 5e.

Hi Aeon! Yeah, it has been a while lol!

Folks mostly just pop in every now an again to see if BHB is still here. I've been busy with many other projects over the last few years and manly keep BHB up for nostalgia at this point. I use the databases for working on some things though, so I plan on keeping it around a few more years.

What genre ttrpg is your friend creating? I've finally gotten around to writing up two new games for publish on drivethrurpg and am in the slow process of formatting one for Print on Demand and getting the bugs out of the other's system.

One is called Chibi City Heroes (a lighthearted Supers game) and the other has a place-holder name as Advanced Chibi Happy Fantasy Fun Game! (no, seriously lol)  That one would be what BHB Fantasy has morphed into over the last decade.

So, we're still kicking lol!

The family and I are now settled in East Tennessee and love these beautiful mountains (or hills if you have ever seen the Rockies for comparison haha).

Still have not got internet though. But that is going to be fixed soon enough.

I'm also working on a new RPG to publish over on DriveThruRPG, a Chibi superheroes game called Chibi City Heroes.

Anyway, BHB will still be around and once I can get back to a computer rather than cell phone access, I'll be more active again.

Well, I'm working here in Tennessee now, but still don't have a home lol! I suppose that's a good sign? If everyone wants to live here, right?

After a series of misadventures, and getting scammed by Realty companies charging an application fee (knowing they got nothing, but failing to tell you that - "Oh I'm sorry, that rental was filled before we got your application.")... Anyway, we get to move into our new house June 1st.

Ah well. Eastern TN and the Appalachian Mountains are beautiful. I'm not used to all this clean air and crystal clear rivers!

Hi all!

I've used all the downtime to work on my Legacy of Dracula's Castle game on CYS - it might crack a million words by the end (already a quarter of the way there)!

As Lady Z said, we're looking at moving to the mountains and going full hillbilly haha!

We always wanted our own little slice of privacy, and love cabin camping, but now it's time to own our own little retreat (only we'll just be there full time lol)!

I also want to have signs posted along the lines of 'Trespassers Will Be Shot', but that actually say 'Trespassers Will Be Subject To Redneck Justice' 

Once we move, I will be opening a full time Fitness Gym - using Station Drills, like they do with the 9 Rounds business model.

I also went ahead and renewed the BHB domain for a couple of more years, so the site will still be here for another decade, which should be enough time to actually get back to it and breath renewed like into it again haha!

Anyway, miss you guys and our awesome adventures!

Still plugging away at this project, believe it or not.

Once it's done, maybe within the next six more months (or longer), I plan to come back and get the BHB site more active again - by reviving some of my more ambitious projects.

But yeah, taking a ship edge, gives you a few weapons choices, but you can also purchase things in-game, as allowed by your GM. If you need more options, check out the Blast-Off supplement, for custom-building ships and ship edges and such

Hope everyone can ride this out intact. It's so strange with all the slowdown this is causing. I'm still working, but those in non-critical jobs are off and probably worrying about how they'll pay rent.

I know two people personally who have been infected, but so far me and the family have avoided it.
