Yuki replies to the four women, impressed at the wu-jen's power. She then turns to Roka and nods.

"He should be able to help us understand what happened to Sakura..."

She begins.

"And we seem to have some other connection with him as well. Though I don't know if it's related to Sakura or not...."

Yuki finishes, trailing off towards the end.

Chief Magistrate Saito raises an eyebrow at Rai's 'fainting spell' but just says, "I trust that will be taken care of prior to our dinner. See you all there."

He then takes his leave of the Samurai, who are now alone with themselves in the Grand Tournament Hall. Looking around, they see that only the Doshin are left there, cleaning up, and the four Samurai-ko, still undressing Roka with their eyes...

Curious as to why four vampires came with old "Uncle Kenjiro", Yuki decides to flat out ask them. Not wanting to get the attention of too many of the Doshin, she tries to do so quietly.

"Pst, why were you four with Uncle Kenjiro? How do you know such a great Wu-Jen mage?"

She asks. She's both curious of the vampires connections with him, as well as the mage himself, as he seems to have the same attunement they have.

Yuki's Mother waited for the Chief Magistrate to finish speaking and then slipped in behind her daughter Yuki. Little Kioko was with her and grinned from ear-to-ear.

"Guess what?" Kioko said to Yuki excitedly - "we have a present for you!"

"Yes," Yuki's Mother confirmed, "I want you to have this," she said, handing her masterwork greatbow to Yuki.

"I have one already, from last year, and it would be a shame to hang this one on a wall, when you could bring it the honor and renown it deserves by actually using it in your defense of Sendai."

"Really!?"

Yuki asks excitedly, giving Kioko a hug as she does. 

"Thank you mom!"

She says, giving her mother a short bow.

"I'll make sure it gets put to good use, and bring honour to our family."

She says proudly.

Misty, realizing that they could all die any minute, throws out Psyduck from his pokeball.

"KYYYYAAAA!!! GET US OUT OF HERE STARMIE AND PSYDUCK!"

She yells. She then grabs Psyduck and starts shaking him violently.

"I DONT WANT TO DIE IN THIS SCARY TOWER!!"

Meanwhile, Nurse Joy and Chansey continue to try and treat the injuries of those there, unable to come up with their own plan to escape.

She commands, ordering Starmie to use surf on the Nine-Tailed Hound of Tindalos (giving it a luck point with harmony if it would help hit).

Nurse Joy frowns and scolds Gary.

"Gary Oak! Stop what you're doing this instant! Do you have any idea how terrible these pokemon must feel!"

She says. Nurse Joy then turns to Chansey and tells her to use bubblebeam on the poor mutated pokemon so he can't hurt anyone. Chansey does a approving waddle and obeys.

Misty meanwhile panics looking at all the dead pokemon, but manages to throw out a pokeball.

"Starmie!! Use surf and get rid of all these ghosts! Kyaaa!!"

Misty commands, running to a corner and getting in the fetal position.

Brock finds that (since Pikachu just pulled down the lever) the trap is no longer functioning. Everyone is able to walk right across unharmed.

As for Offer Jenny and Arcanine, Nurse Joy should have what they need to free them from paralysis...

Nurse Joy uses her paralysis heal on the two of them. If she can only do it on one she chooses Arcanine, since Officer Jenny is to blame for him being paralyzed.

Nurse Joy ponders over what Chansey relays back to her for a moment.

"I see. Ask him if there are any other pokemon in the tower at the moment Chansey, and if he's injuried."

She says. She then begins throwing pokeballs at the Krabby again.

Meanwhile, as Nurse Joy is standing there, a large red claw reaches out from under the over-turned rowboat and pinches the heck out of her big toe!

Apparently, there is a Krabby hiding under there!

Nurse Joy yells after having her big toe pinched.

"Shoo, shoo!"

She continues, trying to get the Krabby to leave by feebly throwing pokeballs at it. Chancy meanwhile waddles over to assist her by bitch-slapping the hell out of that damnable Krabby!

Aw man - no good! Damn knees. I hate 'em. I'm recovering from a knee injury myself right now - and they take nearly a year before you don't notice them anymore.

Screw knees!

I have a permanent knee injury that won't ever heal without surgery (torn cartilage). I can walk/run fine, but I always feel it, and if I do too much exercise I usually end up limping around for the next few weeks/months.

Miya looks out at the vast city before her with a thoughtful expression.

Reminds me of the forest; but with less stone and people.

She gives a quiet laugh at herself before following Roka and Udo. Miya also makes sure to keep close to Yuki in case the chinese prove hostile to her fair-folk friend.

Yuki follows the others, not terribly concerned with finding who they are looking for, since with "summon" the two would meet even if she didn't look for them at all.
