So, then if say, a certain one-armed Malkavian 'accidently' fell fang first on the guy and subsequently gasped in shock at said fang 'accident' - 'inadvertently' sucking him dry... Would anyone miss him?

I still think they're cool, and great if they're part of the story, but I thought you said "no" to vengeful, so I ended up taking Ward instead.

Yeah, kinda crazy. But after you confess, you are sinless and go to heaven properly. But people still sin afterwards, so in order to go to heaven properly, they must die.

that is exactly how the Inquisition worked. They were going to be executed anyway. The torture was to convert them so that they could go to heaven when they died.

Did you ever see Hamlet? Hamlet sneaks up on Claudius at night, and could kill him right then & get away with it- but Claudius is praying. So Hamlet decides he can't kill him now, because Claudius will go to heaven. The whole crazy poison plot is because he wants to make sure Claudius dies with unconfessed sin.

In morality tales, the reward for a good child is to die young, so they can go to heaven and be with God.

Even bad people eventually go to God, once their sins are cleansed in purgatory. That's why you can't embrace anyone but the vilest of the vile/ must embrace the truly wicked-- now they are immortal, and will never know heaven.
