You're transfixed by the stag's horns (unable to move). You can get out of it by fleshcrafting its horns or by just straight-up attacking it with magic, but if you try to just attack without getting out of it first, you'll take additional agg damage as the things tear your flesh.

Nope. For two reasons:

1: Piercing its heart won't kill it

2: You need more than one success to pierce something's heart.

I assume you mean your own foot.

You can, in fact, fleshcraft your foot into a blade.

You would not be able to kick the stag, however, as you are (I really can't say this enough) immobilized because it has completely run you through with it's antlers. Moving would injure you.

Now, I repeat - you can use fleshcrafting to get out of this position, you cannot use fleshcrafting to just attack like nothing's wrong.

Alternatively, you can use magic.

When it leaped at Lucien, it had both legs.

Afterwards, when it turned to swipe at lucien; it turned it's body to hit Lucien - standing on both it's stump and its normal leg.

A more important question is why that blow didn't kill Lucien - to which I answer: wound penalties.

It's a safety measure. The wall is incredibly thick so mortals can't break through it quickly, the tiny holes twist around so no one can peek through, and the holes themselves are so Basilio and his abyss mystic servant can go through it while in Temebrous form.

You guys haven't seen nearly all the defenses in Basilio's labyrinth though.

(Labyrinth is an elder's protective haven, very well protected and fortified so that an elder can rest peacefully.)

Sloped wet stairs are actually very lethal to most mortals, it's a very hard roll to keep your balance in the darkness. In Tenebrous form it's no problem though.

The holes in the walls concealed small metal bars where tendrils of darkness could be wrapped around to keep the Lasombra's balance.

Ah as soon as i think i managed to do something to save Lucien it appears i put myself in a giant lava bird cage.

Drak, there are easier ways to kill him.

Oh Lucien has a fear of heights, lets put in a giant flying bird to pick him up, make him run around in a circle screaming "nuuuuuuoooouuu" make him trip and fall into lava.

See, thats how you kill someone!

The entire left hallway is splattered with his blood. This guy isn't doing anything anytime soon, at least not without a ton of blood to revive himself with.

Yeah, I just kept on forgetting him because I was focused on trying to make Basilio and Husayn bigger characters.

Desiderio is the mystic that Aman wanted as his mentor, who is currently decorating that side of the hallway. I finally gave him a name and included a mention of him in the sidequest thread, when Anton came into the city and was wondering what could possibly threaten Basilio's life - because Basilio has the Shadow protecting him, he had Husayn, his most trusted friend and loyal adviser, and Desiderio, another trusted advisor and talented priest of the abyss.
