Whichever one you like, as everyone got out and back in at the Pancake House.  :)

(Same goes for Gilbert, though I imagined him in the back with Butch and Crystal, due to all the talking between. That way he can cry and scream about how they are going to treat a fat man in prison haha!)  ;D

So, does that mean Cillian is in both SUVs at the same time?

So, are we still in an alleyway close to the crash? If so this is the fastest police force in action I've ever seen, lol.

Nah, there are two time lines in play that have not synced up yet.

1. Montoya and his team drove into the parking lot and started to break into the building, less than a minute after Butch's team sped off in their SUV with the cop in pursuit.

2. The chase took a few minutes to end (not rounds).

3. The cookie factory is minutes away on foot.

4. For simplicity, I'll describe one more room of the factory to the team inside, then write the other team's appearance at the factory.

5. Gilbert knows (you may have forgot) that there is incredibly heavy drone surveillance on Uliga Island. It is only due to Gilbert's ability to track these drones that they would be able to get from the car to the factory on foot unseen.

6. >>>Another overhead view then replaces the first, and shows a few dozen police units setting a perimeter three blocks out in all directions from the wrecked police car - as well as some sort of swat response team in route.<<< Can be taken to mean the cars are streaming to the scene, not that the perimeter has been completely set up yet.

I'll give Cillian and Samuel a chance to worry about the fire - and given that Samuel is NPC right now, I may have to flip a coin to see how this goes if Cillian doesn't step up first.

Note that everyone is back together at the fortune cookie factory now (in case anyone missed that small detail).

He's disappointed the cookie factory turned out to be so sleazy.  Not like willy wonka at all . . .

That's golden, haha!   :D

So, let's take a vote...

Continue the game, or put it on hold for a few months?

Seems like it's getting the short end of the stick with all the new games going (including my own Disciples). I'd rather shut it down now and attempt to pick it up later, than run it into the ground with under-support.

Thoughts?

Also of note - the SSPB is closing in and I haven't invented a way out for everyone yet.

Logically, I see this ending in a huge firefight and everyone dead or in jail for the next few years.

If the team gives itself up, then everyone but Butch and Cillian go away for a while.

Cillian and Moonkit to foster care - and Butch to the Triad.

D: that bad? (our situation, I mean)

Well, yeah.

The Whole Island is crawling with surveillance, and even the bad guys know that the day belongs to Law, while the night is theirs.

Broad daylight shootouts tend to rally the forces.

Things wouldn't be so bad, had Aeon bothered to pay attention to the posts. I clearly included a description of the "closed and locked" gate in the fence, but he goes and posts that Samuel drives the SUV into the parking lot.

Now, as GM, I was pretty sure he just missed that little detail, but at that point, I was irked enough by the 'post without reading' phenomenon lately that I just said to myself 'Fark It!' and took him literally.

But anyway, I think I have a way out figured that logically ties in with the nature of Wong's. So when we get back to it, It won't have to end in utter disaster.

At least we're keeping the tradition alive though haha! ;D

I'm more than happy to keep it going however if it is to continue getting the short end of the posting stick a small break might be good.

Sometimes I look at this and think I'd like to restart it, but then curse Aeon's ability to dig the team into such an abysmal hole haha!

I could play both too, just not run both LOL!

Don't worry though, I'm really into where Disciples is going and will continue to focus on that for a good long time.  :)

We should totally take this up again after Disciples. I'll just have Aeon's character wander off to shoot at security drones, while everyone rushes inside the warehouse and finds the 'totally included in the original adventure conveniently placed escape route' LOL!  ;D

“This game will be going on hiatus for a few months”

*Three years later*

“Hey let’s start this back up”

I guess this is BZ’s way of subtly telling me it’s never too late to continue a game
