Here’s an Awesome Update! With Blast Off finally out there, we’re gearing up for the release of our Hexslinger rules. Not only will Hexslingers allow you to bring magic and modern fantasy into your BHB games, but it will also come with an alternate warehouse 13/x-files/horror-style setting. Play it fast and lite or dark and gritty BZ

Ah sweet irony! No more had I posted my query, than what was waiting for me as I arrived home from work? Blast Off! is now sitting next to me as I type. Haven't had the chance to delve in it yet, but it's on top of my pile of stuff to read. Thanks for your assistance and attention!

I wasn't sure where to post this, so my apologies if it's in the wrong place. Reading through Blast Off! it occurred to me that the Ceres pirate city would make a great setting for a game inspired by the Black Lagoon anime. For those not familiar with it, it's an action series that some have compared to Cowboy Bebop but that has a different feel. While CB evokes the feeling of 70's action flicks, like Dirty Harry or The French Connection, BL is grittier, bringing up the feel of Hong Kong Action Theater ( Hardboiled and Bullet to the Head). Both shows feature a crew of misfits trying to survive in a world of criminals, gangsters and politics. Just a random thought that crossed my mind...

I'm unfamiliar with the anime, but it certainly sounds like a cool and doable idea. (Feel free to post further info on it as a topic in the Solar Frontier boards if you like ) BZ

Busy Getting Everything Ready For The Upcomming ConventionsI'm really psyched to run these adventures at the conventions this year - especially the fantasy one, as I've only had a few opportunities to try those rules in action AndOn other fronts, things have slowed a little now that Blast Off is out, but there is still so much we want to get from our table to yours. We have BHB Adventures, BHB Villains, The Hexslinger Rules and Horror Setting, a Fantasy Setting, and of course tons of Monsters to go with them. BZ

Howdy, it's been awhile... I'm still going through the phase of asking myself "Is this home? Who are these people?" etc...
I just got 'Blast Off', Top Stuff. I'm already looking forward to creating my 'Spaceballs' inspired space ship, the edges & flaws will definitely help I really liked what was there. I haven't read all the Ceres info yet but am looking forward to it so I can work in 'The Scarlet Sabre'. All in all great work.
