All right, these should be pretty simple - just Post Round-to-Round Tactics (telling me how to use your Luck and Surge Points).

Unlike Normal Game Play, I will not spend any Luck or Surge Points for your Character on your behalf or retroactively. You will need to give me any and all contingency plans on how you will use or save them each Round.

Also, If you have a PC there giving you Born Leader Surge Points, we need to know how many at the start of each Fight.

Have Udo try to Disarm Keitaro, using a surge for grapple master. If there isn't a need for that surge then Udo will use it as an extra attack and strike (with Roka's borrowed sword pair)

Ah, and use any luck necessary to halve Crits or other damage that would get to wound (if necessary).

---

Surge for initiative (if he surges for the same then Surge again to counter and take initiative)
Surge to activate Blundering menace/Bumbling fool
Rapid strike+Multi-attack with my Ancestral Nagamaki Surge for another multi attack.

Total of: 3 multi-attacks + Bumbling fool + Initiative + Blundering menace, all in one action round.
= -2 Surge
Burn 2 luck points to crit or make successful attacks. (I want to take him out in one round)

---

Keitaro springs off the starting signal with amazing speed and sweeps Udo up in a whirlwind of slashing strikes! Out of six blows, Udo can only keep up with three and takes 16, 19, and 16 Damage! Fortunately, with a stubborn tenacity, he manages to remain standing afterwards (3 Luck to halve each blow) - unfortunately, Keitaro's blundering stance knocks Udo prone.

Udo replies with an attempt to disarm Keitaro from the ground, but is unable to get the ancestral nagamaki out of his opponent's hands. He then settles for a simple poke at Keitaro's gut with the swords he borrowed from Undo and hits him for 15 Damage.

---

Onto Round 2!

Udo then Surges for Initiative and pulls Keitaro down into a Crit Pin for 12 Damage! Following that, Udo head-butts Keitaro for another 11 Damage!

Keitaro spends 2 Luck to take half damage from each and then uses his Multi-Attack to try escaping the Pin twice, but fails both times. He then tries again and fails another two times.

At this point, the Referees jump in and Separate Udo and Keitaro - pointing out that this is a Swordsmanship Event, not wrestling.

Udo get's a Warning and the Event continues (with a new Initiative Roll) - Both contestants start standing and facing each other...

Udo Surges to go first, but Keitaro over-Surges and slashes again at Udo with Multi-Strike - panning (if Udo even makes it that far) to use Move-Through Attack to force Udo to burn an Action getting to him after the attacks.

As it was however, Keitaro didn't even need more than one shot - wounding Udo on the first slash for 20 Damage - forcing Udo to spend a Luck Point for Half to avoid being Disabled.

The fact is that she IS getting arrested (by Jei Hu's Doshin).

Not that Keitaro can do anything about it right now though - unless he wants to leave the ring and forfeit the Match...

This event, and the strange thing that happened at the start of the Tournament (which will be detailed in the In-Game thread) where Kietaro's paperwork for the Tournament had been mysteriously misplaced - and only a recommendation from General Meji himself allowed Keitaro to even compete -

Yeah, something might be going one here ...

The Doshin report that an important heirloom of the Onishi Family (that has recently been missing) was just found in Miko's room and that they are taking her to be held, until Chief Magistrate Saito (who is currently enjoying the tournament with a whole slew of important people right now), can hear about it.

As Rai speaks with the Doshin, he notes one of the Onishi Family Nobles (a younger, rail thin, man of about 17-ish - definitely no Samurai, but a Bureaucrat) waiting at the door of the Tournament Hall with a stern look of anger on his face ...

Miko meanwhile, considerate of not making a scene and losing even more Face, whispers to Rai "I didn't take it. I don't know how it ended up in my room."

Keita surges for initiative and slashes at JH with 6 ( all of Rokas surge) multi attacks using Luck to halve any DMG back to him he then plans to do the same thing he did to Udo moving through his attack to go 5ft out of JH's maximum move

---

Oh and since Aeon (nearly always) uses his famous multi attacks, lets start up with vengeful blade stance and if needed i'll use at most two crashing mirrors on the counter attacks (preferable the ones that hurt the most)

---

"Well now Yoriki-so, I see they'll let anyone in these days. And I don't know what you are playing out but you will not distract me from crushing you in this tournament" Keita says to the mudblood fighter.

The gong sounds and Keitaro surges forward with a terrible flurry of twelve slashes - aimed at ending this match as quickly as possible and putting the half-blood in his place once and for all.

Jei Hu meanwhile, was ready and set his Vengeful Blade Stance to receive the onslaught!

Then the terrible clash - A Luck Point from Jei Hu allows him to parry Keitaro's first blow and then the next strike with expert skill - following, he spends a Surge and counters with Crashing Mirror Technique - double penetrating Keitaro with his katana for 30 Damage!

Kitaro spends his last Luck Point to halve the Damage and continues swinging - missing again once (due to another Luck Point spent by Jei Hu) and then catching the half-China man for 19 Damage with his fourth swing, before taking another Crashing Mirror counter attack himself for another 22 Damage!

And with that, the match is lost.

---

Jei Hu has wounded Keitaro and wins the Match!

Alright! Fark. I cant decide on wether trying to survive his first blow(s) or try to act first (and not use vengeful counter stance) and try to get him to wounds.

^ Thanks man!

Jie Hu looks at the general, and before doing anything else bows very deeply. So deeply he almost looses balance at first. And smiles, a genuine smile. He wasnt especting to go this far in the tournament, and he sure didnt expect to be facing the General either. When he stood back up as normal, he looked the general straight into his eyes.

"My name is Jie Hu Okamura, the halfblood samurai." He said, with the hint of a smile.

Jie Hue readies his blade, prepared to combat the greatest swordsman he'd ever have the honor of facing (or so he thinks). All the dangers, all the fights, all the masters he had bested... it all boiled down to this one moment, between him and the general of the greatest armies of earth.

Jie Hue raises his blade - and strikes.

(Spend 1 surge to go ahead of General - but not a second, it would cost too much since the general has too much surge.

Spend luck to halve damage from the general (if necessary) OR crit (Crit takes priority if life is not threatened) (Increasing damage dealt will take second priority if life is not threatened).

4 attacks (using multi attack), 2 surges spent on crashing mirror for the highest-damaging attacks.

If Jie Hue loses initiative, then 1 surge will go to vengeful blade stance and another to crashing mirror - give the old bastard something to remember him by.)

(General Meji - minus 1 Luck, minus 2 Surge)

---

General Meji bows back to Jei Hu, draws a deep breath, activates Amazing Celerity and takes up the Vengeful Counter Stance with his double katana pair.

Jei Hu knows that this is not going to be easy.

When the gong sounds, General Meji is off with alarming speed (Criting Initiative) and causing Jei Hu to surge in order to go first.

Throwing a double multi attack at the General, Jei Hu swings four times, ready to add Crashing Mirror to any strikes that get through the General's defenses. Unfortunately, the General expertly parries all four attacks - slicing Jei Hu twice in the process for 9 Damage and then 17 Damage! (Though Jei Hu burns his last Luck Point for half)

Seeing that it's unlikely that this is going to last very long, Jei Hu Surges for Vengeful Counter Stance and braces for the incoming onslaught!

Surprisingly, the response is not just a flurry of multi attacks like has been seen throughout the tournament so far. Rather, the General first tries to Feint Jei Hu with a false attack and the gambit works - setting Jei Hu flat-footed against the General's next attack.

The General then dumps 7 Accuracy for +7 Damage with Power Attack and spends 2 surge for True Strike with Grievous Injury Technique. That coupled with the fact that he has Surprise Strike, takes +5 Damage for the Crit, and Jei Hu fails to Crit his Parry Roll, brings a superbly precise stroke - ending on the half-blood Samurai's bare neck for 36 Damage!

The General however, pulls all but 10 points, Wounding Jei Hu for just 1 Wound Point of Damage and winning the match without spending his last Action for the Round.
