Just watched a half an hour of Happy Tree Friends, and I feel vaguely nauseous and guilty.  Tongue

I looked it up on wikipedia and have to say not my cup of tea.  I understand the parody an all, but it sounds like it goes a bit too far for my tastes.

It's most certainly an acquired taste. I can take it in small doses, usually when I'm in that sort of "little things hitting each other, that's what I like" mood. Wink

Then again, I never grokked South Park and think Beavis & Butthead should have been drowned at birth.  Grin

That movie Operation Endgame could have been written by gamers. Two teams killing each other to find an exit before a napalm bomb goes off and destroys them all. Pretty entertaining though. Grin

I got the same vibe from Predators. A random group of killers get dropped into an alien jungle to be hunted down. That's a con game scenario right there. It was a decent flick, too, and I'm not saying that just 'cause it was made by Robert Rodriguez.  Grin

Operation Endgame had a definite gamer sensation  Grin They were using office tools as weapons and such. We watched The Clash of the Titans last night. I was thinking of Jay's game Pantheon. It was about the Gods Zeus and co. Pretty entertaining. Medusa is my favorite  Grin

UGH I hated that movie! They took the legendary story and bent it over and....well...you get the picture. The original Clash of the Titans will always be my favorite...cheesy yes but at least true to the myth.  Cheesy

I liked this version of Clash, but agree that the original was a much better film.  It's like they said for this version - "screw story-telling, we got GCI baby!!!"  Everything was bigger - like Big McLarge Huge  Tongue

And hey, let's throw some DJinn in for giggles - that's totally related to Greek Mythology.

But I digress... I actually had fun watching it (for what it was - and eye candy CGI Action Flick).

Oh and I thought it was hilarious the way they totally dissed the original Clash with the clockwork owl scene - ha ha!  Grin

Obviously this must be remedied. You'll need to subjected to a steady diet of Harryhausen movies until you are properly indoctrinated.  Grin
