We will be there too. One does not live until they go to GEN CON!  DUH!!!! ;)

I like Origins too though. It is closer to our home and it is not as much mass confusion. The one thing that comes to mind is there are no trains running through your hotel as you try to play a game. ;D

Yes I am still alive!!!!!!! Barely though  :P I have been sick as a dog and taking care of my mom and stuff. The lights we saw were the coolest thing. I never saw the light show at this park before. They had everything from fire breathing dragons to the Steelers Big Ben throwing touchdown passes. All animated stuff.... VERY COOL  8)

The only other light show I ever saw that was cool was on our anniversary one year, BZ took me to see the Trans- Siberian Orchestra ( a dream of mine ) That was awesome as awesome comes.

By the way, SPAM has to be the most disguisting stuff ever made  :P

I am just wondering if it is windy like a tornado everywhere else today too. Here in Pittsburgh, it is very cold and windy. BZ decides to go adventure hunting (for food...:)). We ended up back where we started; the cafeteria at the hospital. No true adventures today.... No cool walkways like the other hospital.... Anyways, have a great weekend everybody and stay warm!!!!  ;D

Hey everyone. Please keep my mom in your prayers. BZ and I are at Allegheny general Hospital in Pittsburgh and my mom has a pretty complex surgery on her back they are doing. I am waiting for the results as we speak. My foot surgery will be in January. I will be good to go for Origins and Gen-Con. No more LIMPY!!!!!! :)

I can not wait to get a new laptop. This computer is not great for comfort in your own bed like the other one. I will not complain though, I do not have to fight for the family computer as well :)  My legs are numb from sitting on the floor, but oh well, worse things could happen. We must sit Japenese style in front of it to be able to use it. No room for a computer desk in our room either  :P

We do know better about making exceptions on cold weather trips. " Let's try the BIG tent we said" " It will be roomy and comfy"  OUR ASS!!!!! :)  We nearly froze to death and BZ was sick which made it ten times worse. We look at this like one for the survival history books. We did however take a lovely canoe trip on Saturday before returning home and it was a beautiful day. Our camp is over for the season, umless there is enough courage for snow camping. Not sure yet :)

C'mon January. I want to make sure and reserve our room and games. I am excited already. It seems like on one hand it takes forever to come around and on the other it is right around the corner. I never played half of BZ's games he is running this time. I want to try the Quags one :)

I think a look at the other small con's are worth checking into. There is a couple in Butler, Pa ( 30 min. from home) I would like to see about. Con on the Cob this year was not real braggable. The construction made me stressed out ....BAD!!! To get anywhere, it took an hour for a five minute drive and it sucked. BZ was right, too many masters and not enough players. We will definitely look into more options next year. :)

Ok, subject change... I am gonna vent! I worked twelve hours yesterday ( I am a CNA at a nursing home) and let's see; I got beat up by an 85 year old woman, I am going to start a Grammy Awards ceremony for the drama these old folks put on and have resident voting to see who is the best actor, I picked a woman up off the floor three times (she went berserk), A family was upset at my co-worker and I for lifting her 300 pound husband up in the bed "too rough" (can you tell me how to do this task easily?). I could go on and on, but I won't.

My only question is does light as a feather and stiff as a board really work? Maybe I can levitate this person in bed and he won't cry!!! :'(

HELP Pareesh!!!!!!!!   I need a job change. ;D

I want an Omen version of Clue :)   You know Damien did it, but where and with what ? ;D I love classic movies.

As for the horror flick, let me add some more spice to it: We will be running though the woods being chased by the ghost of that ferocious racoon we had to dispose of. Hows that for some adventure?

I love cold weather camping, great for fireside warmth and lots of cocoa.

We are too. We are preparing for Con on the Cob, I am trying to keep up with my job, college, four kids and their activities.........ect. You get the picture. BZ is under the weather today  :( Being around snot nosed kids will do it to you every time ;) ( The head start kids, not ours ;D). It is nice to hear from you though.

Our anniversary is coming up next month. We are going to do our cold weather camping on our island. We are taking no family this time to cater to so we can explore some things we have been wanting to check out. There is a cool cave and other old places to visit along the river. There used to be an amusement park there a long time ago and there are remains. Pretty neat stuff.

I just had movie night with my girls and I got to pick :)

The Omen , Ammityville Horror , The Shining , Children of the Corn and Poltergeist. Some of my old favorites. My two year old was sort of paying attention, sort of not ( she gets distracted by other stuff), and when the guy got his head sliced off in the Omen, My baby goes" Look mommy, he's broken" She goes " I'll get a band aid and fix it". It was pretty funny. I hope she does not have nightmares though :-[

Hello everybody. We finally got to play Heart of The Oni. It was fun I must say. It is fast paced, plot well written and exciting; keeps you on your toes. There are hard to kill monsters and you have to work as a team or face your DOOM. Certain doom I tells ya. I would like to see this at a convention and see some others reactions to the game. KUDO's to the writer. Good job honey. It was all that you promised  and more. I would recommend this game to folks who like an action filled adventure. Thanks. ;D

It also has potential for a Part II.    HINT-HINT  Get busy BZ   ;)
