This seems like the best place for a rant, so I'll do it here.
I've been playing witcher 3. Great game, but sometimes I face a creature that is such a bitch that I have to stop. Meet the mother Farking foglet:
This little Farker right here has it all: He's fast, he's intangible and invisible for 95% of the combat against him, and he spawns other invisible duplicates of himself, that attack you, continuously. He also happens to kill me in two hits, which he always does in rapid succession after suddenly appearing beside me. Basically, if I miss a dodge, I die. To add to that, even if I dodge the first hit, it's entirely possible he continues on with his second hit and gets me with that.
Naturally the correct thing to do here is look up counters, right? Well, there's oil that adds 10% damage, a bomb I don't have, and the Farking quen sign. The mother Farking quen sign is supposed to be a counter to this guy. The same sign which, when fully upgraded, breaks in a single hit. The same exploding sign which, upon exploding, does absolutely shit all to stop the relentless onslaught of this little Farker.
It's not even like it's a fun fight either. I faced a nightwraith earlier that was almost equally a bitch, but at least the trap sign actually worked against it, making it a strategic battle of stay inside of this tiny ass circle, dodge, and give it hell. Was tough, but at least I could actually do something about it.
This guy? Nope. Just hope I can continually dodge in time. Hope one of his invisible spawns doesn't prevent me from dodging. At least the other shit that can kill me in two hits I can see for the duration of the fight. Maybe I'll just move on and kill this Farker when I'm 10 levels above him or something.
