So, unless I am mistaken, we are at a standstill and all have spoken on the matter.
Let's get the Retainers out of the way - and if they offer no resolution, then we can all gloom and doom on Kiril - wondering if his Retainers know anything.
Personally, even if it comes to that, Steeple is on Kiril's side with not using Disciplines against each other. It's too Meta-Gamey IMO - being that as Players, we are all 'this will work so let's do it', while to the Characters, there are Vampire Social Mores in play that they would know better than we as Players would.
Not saying you can't play your characters anyway you want, but if you choose to be a forceful brute with no regard for proper protocal, then you will be treated and trusted as such. Which in this case is not good for the Coterie or the logic behind it staying/working together.
Yes, there might be a traitor in the midst, but so what. If I might meta-game myself here a bit, I am already 100% certain that we are being screwed over by duplicitous design on at least 3 sides by those who are supposed to be our mentors.
If our characters press Kiril (or any other character) to the point of them having to fight us, then the enemies of the Coterie win.
